The Artwork of Be The Ball
When Bob Commander, whose illustrations have been seen on magazine covers and in national advertising campaigns for years, put paint to paper, neither he nor we knew that this clever line of golf ball characters would be the end result.
Bob was first commissioned to draw a few animal characters that would represent images for our on-course card game. But, when he first drew a little golf ball with arms and legs lounging on a beach chair in a bunker, we knew the campaign was destined to change. Since that time, Be the Ball licensed character products can be found throughout the globe.
Bob created additional BTB characters and provided all the cover artwork and chapter illustrations to our book, The Magic Dozen at Emerald Pond.
